As Founder and Managing Director of ANICON. , Annivas Vasilopoulos leads the company’s internal and external operations, providing strategic guidance and direction to his team to ensure ANICON achieves its mission and objectives.
He brings extensive experience working with multi-disciplinary teams in diverse environments and from multinational projects implemented in Greece, Cyprus, London, Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong. Notable involvements include the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, the Formula One Grand Prix (Singapore), the tHotel G (Singapore), the New Australian Embassy Complex (Thailand) as well as the Hari Hotel (Hong Kong). Annivas’ input has been instrumental in the success of these projects.
His most recent assignment, as a Senior Project Manager, was for the new high rise 34 storey hotel development – The Hari Hotel- in the central area of Hong Kong, where Annivas led the design, procurement, construction, and closeout of the project, from foundation to delivery. It was the success of this project that led Annivas to establish ANICON., fuelled by his passion for sustainability and construction.
Annivas is commended for his positive attitude and willingness to do whatever it takes to exceed client expectations. His ability to read a room, maneuver and adapt his approach to get the best out of both colleagues and clients is what makes him stand out, particularly in such a people-orientated industry.
A diligent academic, he holds a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from University College of London in which he graduated with Distinction. Annivas has also earned 2 academic awards, one from the Institute of Structural Engineers (ISE) and one from TATA Steel, proving his continuous desire to succeed and grow.
In 2019, Annivas was awarded the Atkins presidential award for his outstanding contribution to the Project Management, Engineering and Design business of Atkins. Atkins is one of the world’s most respected consultancies. Annivas is also a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with a Project Management pathway.
Martin Hirko is ANICON’s Senior Director. He has worked on numerous iconic projects in Greece and across the United States in the commercial, hotel, and residential markets.
He is an accomplished Senior Director with more than 40 years of experience in the property and construction sector working with well-known national and multinational Contractors, Construction Management Companies, Owner Developers, and Owner’s Representative Project Management Companies.
Martin has an extensive track record of major projects in a variety of sectors including Commercial Office, Hotel & Hospitality, Retail, Mixed Use, Health Care & Pharmaceutical, Residential, Assisted Living & Skilled Nursing, and Education. His communication and leadership skills deliver excellent project and business outcomes. He led the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre (SNFCC)- LEED Platinum – 650 million Euro project and Faithful+Gould Greek operations for 10 years.
Also he was Vice President ofPizzarotti in New York City providing oversight as Project Executive for Ritz Carlton Residents at North Hills, 23rd Str. Condominium Towers in Manhattan and a large mixed use Commercial Office and Retail building complex in Brooklyn, NY.
His most recent assignment was with LAMDA Development S.A. as Chief Program Management Officer on the 8 Billion Euro Hellinikon Project.
With a proven track record of successfully managing multi-million-euro projects from conception through design, construction, delivery, and occupancy, Martin is a strong team player who can effectively bring together cross-functional teams to achieve timely project completion.
He is a strategic thinker with a natural ability to recognize project challenges and identify solutions to mitigate risk. A firm believer in lifelong learning, he holds degrees in Construction Technology from the City University of New York; Economics from the New York Institute of Technology; and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Martin is also a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with a Project Management Pathway.

Irini is an accomplished Civil Engineer with over 33 years’ experience in Engineering, Design, Construction and Project Management. She is also an accredited member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and an Efficient Building Inspector (Class III).
She brings insights, know-how and solid project management skills, having worked and coordinated large hospitality, residential and commercial projects.
Working for construction projects assigned by international 5-star luxury hotels, business centres, entertainment parks and banking retail operations, Irini has managed the full project lifecycles, from master planning phase to project completion.
Irini’s most recent assignments were with AECOM, where she coordinated the Structural Design of two exclusive Villas on Scorpio Island, Greece, and 14 Greek regional airports – following the concession of Fraport. Irini also led, on behalf of the client’s team, the development of a 1.200.000m2, 5-star Hotel and 18-hole Golf Course project in Argolida Prefecture.
In addition, Irini was responsible for the delivery and reposition of the 403 key 5 stars 27.231 m2 Met Hotel in Thessaloniki, and was the Project Manager to reconstruct the 118.604 m2 Golden Hall Shopping Mall in Athens, Greece.
